The most important thing for the creator of these workshops is to show participants the mysteries contained in icons (sacred pictures often found in Eastern Christian churches), which makes them arrest the attention of every viewer, whether religious or not. The workshops will be supplemented by an illustrated lecture on the history of the icon and the arcana of the language of painting.
