Boris Eifman, one of the world’s most interesting choreographers, needs no introduction in Łódź. This is where he began his career (the Polish premiere of Khachaturian’s “Gajane” in 1975). In 1977 he founded an ensemble, with whom he has been developing his vision of dance theater, combining modern and classical elements, ever since. In his play Don Quixote is a patient in a psychiatric hospital who thinks himself a noble knight. The first version of the production came about in 1994, while the present one features some new solutions.
