A Briton who specializes in Polish music. He devotes special attention to the work of Chopin and Paderewski (he is an ambassador of their music), but is also interested in lesser-known Polish composers. He received a gold medal from the Royal Academy of Music, and won 1st Prize in the European Piano Competition. He makes recordings, runs master’s courses, and sits in the juries of international competitions. For the 200th anniversary of Chopin’s birth, his Łódź recital will be principally devoted to this composer.
