Andrzej Tobis – a painter, graphic artist, drawer and photographer – has been working on this project since 2007; it was first unveiled in Bytom, then in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Toruń and Belfast. This unpredictable and ambiguous photography series is based on Duden’s “Bildwörterbuch Deutsch und Polnisch” (“Illustrated Polish and German Dictionary”) of 1954.
