“Shabbat Feast for the Young” / Jewish culture workshops for children aged 7–12 / part two

Young workshop participants become acquainted with the Jewish holidays. They will learn about the Shabbat – the Jews’ weekly holiday. They will also become familiar with the mysterious world of Jewish legends and beliefs. While listening to klezmer music, they will be able to make their own Purim masks and hamsas (clay amulets) and mold their own golems. The event concludes with a Shabbat feast.
